About Dustin Jenkins:
Rev. Dr. J. Dustin Jenkins, D.Min., MTh., MBA, LP
Originally from Sanger, TX, Dustin Jenkins graduated from Howard Payne University with a BA in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Languages (Greek and Hebrew). After one year at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dustin entered the Fire Service working full-time as a Fireman and Paramedic in Cleburne, TX, where he met his wonderful wife Jamie. The Lord drew Dustin back into full-time ministry serving both in South Carolina and Texas. During this period, he completed a Master of Theology and a Doctorate of Ministry at Covington Theological Seminary. After several years, the Lord opened doors for Dustin to help plant a church in Port Lavaca, Texas. Dustin returned to Emergency Medical Services, working part-time at Calhoun County EMS and full-time at Refugio County Memorial Hospital EMS. It was during this time in Refugio, he returned to school and completed a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare and subsequently promoted from working on the Ambulance to the Assistant CFO of the Hospital. After several years of working in Refugio, a new opportunity arose. Dustin now serves the community as the Emergency Medical Services Director for Calhoun County, TX and as the bi-vocational pastor of Heritage Bible Church, in Port Lavaca, TX. Dustin and Jamie have four beautiful daughters; Samantha, Haleigh, Ashlynne, & Maycie; one son-in-law; and three wonderful granddaughters.
