Rotarian of the Week
Joseph Jones

Joseph is originally from Monahans, Texas, and he holds a Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Christian Studies (concentration in Bible) from Howard
Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Additionally, Joseph earned a
Master of Ministry and a Master of Arts in Christian Education at Temple
Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Currently in the dissertation
phase, Joseph is working on his Doctor of Ministry Degree at Midwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Joseph began his
ministry work as a Youth Minister at churches in Kermit, Texas and Coleman,
Texas. He has served as an Interim Pastor in Gouldbusk, Texas, and
has pastored churches in Hawley, Texas, Quanah, Texas, and Port Lavaca,
Texas. In addition to his pastoral ministry, Joseph also operates Double J
Woodworks out of the shop at his home. Joseph has been married to
Heather Jones for fourteen years, and together they have three children,
Joshua (8), Jordan (deceased), and Kaitlynn (4).

Pregnancy Help Center of the Crossroads Area

Heather is originally from Wake Village, Texas, and she holds a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Psychology and Religious Education from Howard Payne
University in Brownwood, Texas. Additionally, Heather earned a Master
of Arts Degree in Family Psychology at Hardin‐Simmons University in Abilene,
Texas, and she is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addi􀆟on
to working in private practice, Heather has operated in several non‐profit
settngs. These include The Serenity House of Texas, MHMR Early Childhood
Intervention, and Devereux Texas Advanced Behavioral Health. Approximately
one year ago, Heather became the first full‐time Executive
Director for the young Pregnancy Help Center of the Crossroads Area.
Heather has been married to Rev. Joseph Jones for fourteen years, and
together they have three children, Joshua (8), Jordan (deceased), and
Kaitlynn (4).
