Speaker - Ron Kocian

Ron was born and raised in Victoria County. Graduated from Victoria High School and Texas State University. Ron owns and manages Ron Kocian and Associates Inc, an insurance agency, that has be operating for approximately 19 years. He has been in the insurance and financial planning business for over 40 years. Ron founded Warrior's Weekend (WW) in 2007 and has remained the President of WW since then.

Warrior’s Weekend is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 Corporation dedicated to the support of veterans of The United States of America with an emphasis on those wounded in The Global War on Terrorism. This is accomplished through holding an annual fishing event for wounded military personnel in May in Port O’Connor, Texas as well as donations to veterans and veterans-based causes.
