Marilyn Horst

Marilyn Horst was born in Victoria, her family calling South Texas home for 4+ generations. She received her Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston-Victoria. She’s been married to her better half, Rex Horst for 45 years. She and Rex, who owns Designer Homes by Rex Horst, are the proud parents of two daughters. Karen Wilkinson and husband
Carlton reside in Victoria and Melissa Crooks and husband Garrett reside in Bryan. They have four grand children, Emma Wilkinson
(7), Jackson Wilkinson (5) and twins Liam & Jordan Crooks (1). Marilyn worked for Union Carbide Seadrift for 15 years before
switching career focus to Industrial Sales in 1994. She has worked the past 17 years for Sunbelt Supply Co. in Port Lavaca as sales
manager. Her territory spans the Bay City area south to just north of Corpus Christi where she is busy promoting and selling valves
and valve automation products to primarily the petrochemical, refining and power industries. She joined Rotary in 2015 and strives to be of active service alongside her fellow Rotarians.
